Please note: The Hele Box storage case will not fit underneath the sleeping platform while using the stubbies, however, you will still have 4.5-6.5” of room under the sleeping platform to store car camping gear :)

**The vehicles mentioned above were the only ones we've had a chance to personally test. If your vehicle has a relatively flat trunk area without obstacles (i.e folded seats) protruding over 5” from the floor - stubbies should fit great!**

To use, simply tighten these in place rather than the short legs that come with your Hele Box.

Tip: With the reduced size in your frame, you may need to use the short legs that come with your Hele Box for the footwell area vs. the extended leg that would typically go there.

Shipping in USA - Shipping is through UPS ground, the costs will be estimated for you in your cart when you go to check out.

Shipping to Canada - Shipping is through UPS ground or USPS, the costs will be estimated for you in your cart when you go to check out. You will also need to pay a custom/duty charge that will only be sent to you once it makes it to the customs warehouse in Canada. You will be alerted by the carrier via email, and the Hele Box will not be sent to your address until the duty charge is paid.

Do I need to buy these to use my Hele Box?

Nope! This is simply an add-on product for customers who are looking to prioritize more headroom!

Do these actually make a difference? Their only half the size of the standard short legs that come with the Hele Box..

You bet - 4 inches goes a long way in terms of headroom... It's not about how big it is, its about how you use it!;)

Why don't you sell this product with the Hele Box in place of the short legs it comes with?

The Hele Box was built for the happy medium between headroom and storage space. With stubbies in place you lose a decent chunk of storage space - a critical factor for longer trips or those who tend to need more organizational capacity.

Will the stubbies work in every vehicle on the fitment list?

Not necessarily. Certain vehicles (like older Honda CRVs/Landcruisers) have rear seats that require more than 5" of clearance. Check out the size and specs dropdown for more information on fitment.
