Wow Murray! Easier to assemble than expected (maybe because I watched your videos so many times)! Shortening kit vid was helpful too, along with my stubbies to allow excellent fit/headroom in my 2022 CRV Hybrid! At 59, I put it together in 15 minutes...super easy! Also, when not in bed mode, I use it as a shelf in the back + store many things under it in that awesome case provided! This has so many configurations and options, it was a no-brainer after comparing with all the major competitors!!! Stay innovative with the add-ons, because the competition are not as creative.

If you want to car camp and don’t have the space, tools, or know how to build a sleeping platform then this is a great option. Even if all of those resources are available to you I would still recommend this sleeping platform. The metal frame collapses nicely, adjusts, and is very sturdy. I do not recommend this but I have even driven around with this constructed in the back of my car and it doesn’t move around at all. The construction is sleek and professional. I have now used this twice in my 2023 Subaru Outback and found it to be easy to use.
I finally put together my new Hele solo bed. It wasn’t exactly easy. But I am not exactly a DYI kind of girl. (I should actually READ the instructions!) Anyway, it is exactly what I wanted. I can’t wait to embark on my cross-country jouney. 😊
Got my HeleBox about a week ago. Took it out for a spin right away and took a nap on it. Soooooo comfortable!!! I looked at a LOT of options, and I honestly think this is the simplest, most elegant, best designed, and highest value car camping kit on the market. I've already inadvertently sold three more just by showing it off to friends and family. Everyone takes a photo of the logo and heads off to the website to check it out. I have yet to give it a full overnight test, but I am quite confident that it will hold up well. It's been set up in my car for the past week and it doesn't rattle or make noise while driving. I'd say if this product seems to suit your needs, just get it!
