Hele Box Duo Bundle

This platform has made a big difference in my car camping experience. I have a level surface now for sleeping and the space underneath holds a lot of storage. I’m looking forward to using it as a cot in my tent too. I love how well built the platform is and how flexible it is.

I recently started car camping, I’m a little older now and sleeping on the ground is not my forte any longer. I had researched several different company as well. Trying to figure out which would work best with my vehicle and what I wanted. I was a little hesitant because of the price point, but trusted in the return process if needed. The Hele sleeping platform has gone above and beyond my expectations! Everything is labeled, so it’s very easy to assemble without any instructions, but there is a video if needed. The materials are of higher grade than I expected them to be. Even now that my camping excursion is over, I still am able to use it daily for extending the space in the trunk of my SUV. I did purchase a different mattress, a memory foam one, from Amazon. The dimensions for a typical cot mattress fits the Hele platform perfectly. I even went ahead and ordered the shortening bars just in case I ever needed them for anything. I love that I can keep everything stored in the bag it came in. I highly suggest this because you’re not stuck with just one product, it is so versatile it can be used for many different applications.

I did a lot of research on which car camping platform to purchase. I chose Hele Outdoors because it seemed to be the best option. It is well built, an affordable price and easy to assemble. I like that the storage bag doubles as a space for camping gear. I also chose Hele Outdoors because I am also from Hawaii and I like having that connection. I just took my camping platform on its maiden voyage by camping in a different location each night for three nights. It was so nice to simply pull up to my next destination and have my bed ready already! I absolutely don’t regret this purchase and have been ranting and raving about it to anyone who will listen!

I made a separate purchase of blackout covers for all the windows in my Toyota RAV4 and a net to go on the hatch that is similar to the door of a tent. I slept better than in any hotel or other camping set up!

The Helle box duo was as easy to set up as advertised. I can’t wait to road test it. I was bummed I wasn’t able to order a sleeping pad with it. So still working on that which is delaying the start of the adventure!

We love the Hele Duo in our Subaru Outback. We bought the bundle and use it for camping and quick overnights on road trips. The stubby legs are great for more headroom and they still leave room to store stuff underneath. We use the regular legs when need more storage space. Love the flexibility!

We live in a condo where storage space is at a premium. The duo bundle easily fits under our bed. It is so easy to carry the two bags down to the garage and set up the platform. Before you know it, we are off on our next adventure!

I have recommended it to friends and even the REI salesperson when I was buying camping chairs.
