This is exactly what I was looking for. I just bought a Toyota 4Runner and was looking for a bed platform for the cargo area. The Hele Box is exactly what I had in mind.
Assembly was very easy, and the bed platform is very sturdy. I had already bought a mattress prior to finding the Hele Box, so I purchased it without the mattress pad (very nice that is an option).
Great product. The instructions were very clear and it was easy to set up. Fits in my crv just fine and is comfortable.
delivered on time, havent slept on it yet but very happy with design and utility, seems to be good quality. I was skeptical Duo size fit 2 but seems sufficient, but again I have not slept on it yet. Basically u can build or take apart in same time as a tent. Easily fits back into provided storage bag.
Overall solid piece of kit and performed better than expected. Adaptable to work in the 6th gen 4runner with the battery hump. Once you've figured the correct settings for your configuration recommend taping or marking the settings to speed up setup the next time. For version 2.0, suggest possibly bolts that can be hand tightened instead of requiring the included allen wrench.
I recently purchased the Hele Box Solo for use within a Honda CRV_2016. The cargo space in this SUV presents several challenges. When the back seats are folded down, they extend into the footwell and block access to most of the area. The cargo floor is also quite uneven. Fortunately, the Hele Box system is very adaptable, allowing me to fit it into the available space. The platform is well-designed and provides a stable and comfortable sleeping system. This is a great option for car camping.
